GEON introduces state-of-the-art mailing services into its Business Printing Group Auckland facilities to add value for customers
Auckland, 22nd March, 2007: Pioneering print and mail services provider GEON Group today announced it is in the final stages of integrating brand new mailing services into its Auckland BPG (Business Printing Group) facilities. The introduction of a new mailing service from this site promises to significantly simplify the end-to-end process for combined print and mail services for customers across New Zealand, as well as bringing about substantial time savings. This latest initiative, due to go live in April 2007, positions GEON as a total service provider to subscription-based businesses and upholds parent GEON Group’s ongoing commitment to delivering best-in-class, market-leading solutions.

A GEON Group company, BPG specialises in providing printing services to publishers and corporations nationwide, particularly businesses with high subscription rates and a requirement for inserts, onserts and attachments. The installation of state-of-the-art subscription fulfilment and plastic wrapping equipment to Auckland for all group operations will greatly enhance the value-added services GEON is able to offer existing and future customers, providing them with a comprehensive, single stage offering.
Included among the benefits are all of the cost efficiencies associated with a single stage order process, reduced transportation requirements, reduced delivery pressures and faster turnaround times. An additional environmental benefit results from a reduced reliance on the packaging and fuel that would normally be required for the site to site transportation of printed publications within a multi-stage process.
The introduction of on-site mailing facilities is the latest step in an ongoing development plan, which includes the future incorporation of full database services and multiple choices for addressing, to round off a total in-house ability designed to provide superior efficiency in the printing, personalisation and mailing of magazines, flyers, brochures and direct mail.
